HARMONY DENTAL
Cosmetic Dentistry
Wanting to tweak or transform your smile’s appearance is extremely common. That’s why our team have delivered cosmetic dental treatments to people from all over Morley and beyond.
Our main goal is to help you achieve the look you want while still prioritising your oral health. Certain treatments may not be effective (or could even be harmful!) if you have untreated oral health issues, so we’ll advise a customised treatment plan that’s right for your needs and goals.
It’s important to remember that some cosmetic dental work isn’t just about looks. Many of the treatments we offer can result in cosmetic changes as well as functional ones. For example, dental crowns can improve your smile’s appearance while also strengthening and protecting a damaged tooth. Likewise, dental implants* can fill a gap caused by a missing tooth, potentially improving your oral health and overall quality of life.
Our Morley-based clinic offers a range of cosmetic treatments, including:
Teeth whitening
Whether you have serious stains or just want to refresh your smile for a special occasion, teeth whitening is a popular way to change your smile’s appearance. We have both in-chair whitening and take-home whitening kits to help you get the look you want. While many stains can be removed or reduced, some types of tooth discolouration may not respond to teeth whitening treatments; a comprehensive exam will help us understand the causes of your discolouration and, if whitening won’t be an effective option, we can recommend alternative solutions such as veneers.
Veneers and composite facings
Veneers (sometimes known as “laminates”) can correct all kinds of issues, from discoloured teeth to minor misalignment. They’re a thin covering that fit onto the front of your teeth and give your smile a new look. In some cases, they can be an alternative to treatments like teeth whitening or orthodontics, so just talk to us if you aren’t sure which treatment would be best.
Dental implants
If you’re missing a tooth, a dental implant is often an ideal, long-term way to replace it. They look and feel like a natural tooth – if you’re missing a tooth that’s noticeable, replacing it can make a big difference to your smile, but there are also some oral health reasons to fix a missing tooth. Regardless of whether your dental implant is for looks or function (or both!), we’ll walk you through all of your options and create a tailored treatment plan just for you.
